Jazeera Airways celebrates seven-year anniversary, marking a milestone for the airline and the potential of Kuwait’s growing private sector

Freedom Town, Kuwait, December 8, 2012: Jazeera Airways recently celebrated its seventh anniversary in an event held for Jazeera Airways team on Thursday 22 November at its headquarters in Freedom Town.

Jazeera Airways CEO Stefan Pichler said, “The success of Jazeera Airways is the success of Kuwait’s private sector. When we took to the skies seven years ago we were the first ever fully private airline in the Middle East. Seven years later, we not only proved that a non-government owned airline can succeed and can continue to succeed in the Middle East, and with flying colors, but also proved the dynamism of Kuwait’s private sector and the strength of regulatory environment.

“Jazeera Airways thanks each member of our team for their hard work and dedication every day in making Jazeera Airways today the airline of choice of travelers and the best place to work for in Kuwait. We also thank all our partners, suppliers, and regulators for their non-stop support”.

In celebration of the anniversary, Jazeera Airways organized an event for the staff which ended with fun and engaging competitions with valuable rewards from Habchi & Chalhoub, Crowne Plaza Hotel, The Sheraton Hotel and Boodai Aviation.
