Freedom Town, Kuwait, January 27, 2013: Jazeera Airways, the Middle East leader in on-time performance (OTP) for the last years, was ranked as the world’s leading airline in OTP for 2012 by FlightStats, the US-based global OTP tracker.
FlightStats Data sources include civil aviation authorities, airlines, airports, airline reservation systems and data aggregators. The report summarizes the data by carrier and includes a breakdown of on-time, late, very late and excessively late arrivals. Also included is the average delay for flights arriving more than 15 minutes late, the percentage of cancelled and diverted flights for over 170 of the world’s leading airlines.
Jazeera Airways’ OTP for 2012 was 93.71% as measured by FlightStats. Jazeera Airways was also the leading airline in OTP in the Middle East in 2011.
